This may lead to issues connecting to the SOLO shared folder, in some cases—and while the fix will be included in the next update, having just released a version, here's a quick solution:

  1. Connect via SSH to your SOLO (usually using "PuTTY").
  2. Mount the card read-write so changes can be made, and edit the file: PuTTY terminal showing login as pi, then sudo mount / -o remount,rw, sudo nano /etc/samba/smb.conf, sudo shutdown -r now
  3. Modify the file—just add protocol = SMB2, as in the image, in the [global] section—then press Ctrl-X, and save when asked: nano editor open on /etc/samba/smb.conf, with protocol = SMB2 added under the [global] section
  4. Reboot, and you're done—better said, you'll be done when Windows is also rebooted.
