Lunatico Support Policy
At Lunatico we always strive to offer the best possible support, to make it as easy as possible to use our products, many of which are more complex than they might at first seem. Indeed, some require a degree of programming knowledge in order to use them to their full potential.
If you want to accomplish something new and exciting, in many cases we’ll go the extra mile and publish a tutorial, as we’ve done with NodeRED, uploading Solo data to a NAS, push messaging (PushOver and PushBullet) and most recently
using ZeroTier.
However, in recent months we have been in the lucky position of growing the business and one of the consequences of this is that we now feel it is appropriate to clearly define the degree to which we offer after-sales support.
We will gladly provide the following services free of charge:
- Help in writing open and close scripts for most roof setups.
- Provide you with remote assistance via TeamViewer, AnyDesk etc, should you experience problems with any of our products.
- Provide help and guidance via the forum or our support email address.
Increasingly, we are being asked to provide bespoke solutions to more complex situations and this is an area of the business that we are keen to grow. Like all things in life, quality has its price and we have decided to charge a reasonable rate of 30€ per hour for software services. This will enable us to dedicate appropriate resources to your projects and give you the high service standard that you would expect.
Specifically, these rates apply to:
- Scripts for very complex or specific setups, such as multi-telescope observatories.
- Custom software to your specifications, involving our systems and equipment.
