Lunatico New Year Imaging Contest 2022

Process our brand-new NGC 6960 dataset and win — we are handing over never-before-processed raw astronomical data and inviting the community to show us what they can do with it.

We have got some brand new, never-before-been-processed data for you in the form of NGC 6960, The Western Veil. Five channels captured with professional equipment from southern Spain — all yours to process however you like.

The Dataset — NGC 6960, Western Veil Nebula

Five stacked exposures, five minutes each, captured with a Moravian G4 16000 camera on a PlaneWave CDK 14 telescope, mounted on a 10Micron GM 3000HPS in southern Spain.
