Keep your Solo CloudWatcher's brain up to date: current firmware, user manual, and SD card images.
The Solo updates its own firmware directly from its web interface; no file download needed. From your browser, open the Solo configuration page at https://aagsolo/config (note the s in https) and click the Update button. What's new in 4.4:
Apart from some bugfixes here and there, the Solo now supports inserting a Wi-Fi dongle into one of your Solo’s USB ports and be able to configure your connection to a reachable Wi-Fi access point from Solo’s configuration page. Once done, you can get rid of the ethernet cable and set your Solo free!
Limitations:
Previous version 4.3 (05/2026): Disable unsafe triggering individually for clouds, rain, wind, pressure, humidity, or light; real-time weather data publishing via HTTP; Pushover notifications now require an application token; shortcut to the configuration page from the main interface.

If your Solo SD card has failed, download the image for your model and write it to a new micro-SD card (8 GB or larger) using Rufus or Win32DiskImager.
